R. Hollenshead Auto Sales, Inc. (“RHAS,” “we,” or “us”) operates www.rhollensheadautosales.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. RHAS sells to the automotive trade only, and the Site is intended for dealers and other automotive businesses.

Information We Collect

  • Information you give us. If you contact us by email, phone, or through the Site, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time. We use these server logs only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.

Please do not send us Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, driver’s license numbers, or other sensitive information through the Site or by email.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

The Site does not set cookies, does not use analytics or tracking tools, and does not display advertising. Because we do not track visitors across other websites, browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals do not change how the Site operates.

Third-Party Content

  • Fonts and code libraries. Some pages load fonts and standard code libraries from third-party providers such as Google and BootstrapCDN. Those providers receive your IP address and browser information when they deliver that content.
  • Inventory listings. Our Inventory Search page displays listings provided by HeadStart VMS (headstartvms.com) in an embedded frame. That content is delivered by HeadStart VMS, and anything you view or enter inside the frame is handled under HeadStart VMS’s own terms and privacy practices.
  • Links. The Site links to other websites, including our affiliated companies. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to your inquiries and do business with you.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We may follow up with you about your inquiry or about related RHAS products and services. You can ask us to stop at any time.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:

  • with service providers that help us run our business, such as email and web hosting providers, who may use it only to provide those services;
  • with our affiliated companies when needed to respond to your request;

If a security breach involving your personal information occurs, we will provide notice as required by the Pennsylvania Breach of Personal Information Notification Act and other applicable law.

Your Choices

You may contact us at any time to:

  • ask what personal information we have about you;
  • correct or update it;
  • ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep by law; or
  • stop receiving marketing communications from us.

We will respond within 45 days and will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

The Site is intended for automotive trade professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
